Logo design and corporate design
Want a logo that will still fit in ten years? We develop your logo and corporate design from your positioning – from the mark and colours to the brand manual.
The logo exists in three versions, every print shop uses a different colour, and the website looks like it belongs to another company. Every new flyer starts from scratch.
We derive the identity from your positioning and build a system from it: logo, colours, typefaces, imagery, templates. Everything documented, so external partners deliver on brand too.

What matters in logo design and corporate design
What a good logo has to do
A good logo is simple, distinctive and works at any size. It must be as legible as a tiny browser icon as it is on the wall of a building or on a van, in one colour as well as in full colour, on light and on dark backgrounds. That is why we test every draft early in real applications rather than only on a white sheet of paper. Distinctive means it does not resemble a competitor’s mark and does not follow a trend that will look dated in two years. Before handover we recommend a trade mark search, so that you can later register your logo as a trade mark without conflicts.
Logo costs: what the price depends on
What a logo costs depends less on the drawing itself than on the work before and after it. On the market, prices range from a few hundred euros on template platforms to five-figure sums at large branding agencies. The difference lies in research, the number of design directions, rounds of revisions, variants for different uses and the usage rights transferred. With us, a logo starts at €1,900 net, with three design directions, two rounds of revisions and all file formats. With any quote, make sure you receive full usage rights and the editable source files.
Corporate design: from logo to system
A corporate design is the set of rules that turns a logo into a recognisable identity. It includes a main brand colour with a few secondary colours, one or two typefaces, a layout grid, an imagery style and templates for business cards, letterheads, email signatures and presentations. Repetition is what counts: customers recognise a brand when they see it again and again in the same colours and shapes. A good corporate design agency therefore does not just design attractive individual pieces. It designs a system that your team and your service providers can apply without having to ask.
Rebranding: start afresh or evolve carefully
Not every older logo needs replacing. An existing mark often carries a lot of recognition that should not be given up lightly. In that case a careful revision is enough: cleaner shapes, a contemporary typeface, better legibility at small sizes. A full rebrand pays off when the company has changed fundamentally, for example through new lines of business, a merger or a generational change, or when the old identity creates the wrong expectations among customers. Plan the switch step by step: digital channels and templates first, then printed materials, and finally vehicles and signage.
Brand manual: keeping the brand consistent without an agency
The brand manual, often also called a style guide or design guidelines, documents all the rules of your corporate design. It shows how much clear space the logo needs, which colour values apply to print and screen, which typefaces are used where and how images are chosen. Good manuals work with examples and counter-examples rather than long explanations. For small businesses, a compact version of a few pages is enough. As soon as several service providers, locations or an in-house marketing team work with the brand, a detailed manual with ready-made templates is worthwhile.

Questions about logo and corporate design
What is part of a corporate design?
A corporate design, a consistent visual identity, covers logo, colours, typefaces, imagery, layout grid and templates for print and screen. It is summarised in brand guidelines so everyone involved works consistently.
Can we get just the logo?
Yes, but we rarely recommend it. A logo without a system remains a picture and never becomes a brand.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
One main round per phase plus detail adjustments. For bigger changes of direction we clarify the extra effort openly beforehand.
Do we get the source files?
Of course. You own the brand, we hand over all files.
What does it cost to have a logo designed?
A logo with three design directions, two rounds of revisions and variants for every use starts at €1,900. A complete corporate design with colours, typefaces and stationery starts at €5,500, a detailed brand manual with templates at €2,500. All prices are guide prices net plus VAT. After the free initial consultation you receive a fixed-price quote for your exact scope.
How long does it take to design a logo?
Plan four to six weeks for a logo and eight to twelve weeks for a complete corporate design. The timing depends mainly on how quickly decisions are made and how many people are involved. Most of the time goes into research, design directions and rounds of revisions. If there is a fixed date such as a trade fair or an opening, we plan backwards and tell you upfront whether it is realistic.
Which file formats do I get for my logo?
You receive your logo as vector files in SVG, EPS and PDF for print and signage, plus PNG for your website, office documents and social media. Every variant comes in colour, black and white, along with a square profile image and a small browser icon. Vector files can be enlarged without any loss of quality, which is why print shops and sign makers need exactly these formats.
Does a small business need a corporate design too?
Yes, at the right scale. A small business also benefits when its logo, colours and typeface look the same on the website, vehicles, quotes and workwear. It looks reliable and saves time with every new printed item. To start with, a compact corporate design is enough: a logo, two colours, one typeface and templates for business cards and letterheads. It can be extended at any time.
Is this eligible for funding?
For projects in brand and logo, there are currently 7 matching funding programmes, 1 of them Germany-wide plus state programmes in 5 federal states. Whether it fits you depends on your federal state, company size and project – and almost always: apply first, order second.
