Cloud and IT infrastructure

Servers in Germany, backups that can really be restored, and a plan for when things go wrong.

The server in the basement is eight years old. Backups go to a tape nobody has ever restored. If something fails, the business stands still for days and nobody knows exactly what to do.

We move your systems step by step to servers in Germany, set up automatic backups and write everything down so that you are back at work within a few hours in an emergency. Without depending on the one acquaintance who “set it up back then”.

Where it helps your business

  • Server migration

System by system into the cloud, without the business standing still.

  • Access control

Two-factor sign-in, clear roles, encrypted connections. Everyone sees what they need.

  • Backups that work

Daily backups in two places and regular tests to make sure everything can be restored.

  • Emergency plan

Power cut, broken hardware, ransomware: written down and rehearsed once.

  • Costs under control

Cloud costs shown clearly, with a budget and a warning when usage looks unusual.

  • Monitoring

One glance shows whether everything is running. In plain words, not log lines.

How we go about it

Five steps that have proven themselves. You always know where we stand.

  1. 01

    Take stock

We write down what runs in your business. Including the things nobody remembered.

  2. 02

    Plan the move

A roadmap with times, risks and a way back. Never everything at once.

  3. 03

    Switch step by step

System by system is moved, tested and released. Your people are involved.

  4. 04

    Secure

Backups, emergency plan and monitoring are set up and walked through with you.

  5. 05

    Look after it

Maintenance, backup tests and updates at a fixed price. You no longer have to think about it.

Frequently asked questions

Where will our data be stored?

On servers in Germany, usually in Frankfurt, Nuremberg or Falkenstein. Outside the EU only if you expressly decide so.

Roughly what does a migration cost?

For a business with around 20 staff, a typical migration costs between €5,000 and €12,000 one-off. Running costs afterwards are often lower than maintaining your own server.

Is the cloud really safer?

Mostly, yes. German data centres are certified (for example to ISO 27001), monitored around the clock and built with redundancy. A server in the basement can hardly match that.

Can we leave again later?

Yes. We rely on open standards and data that can be exported. Your data belongs to you.

Is this eligible for funding?

For projects in IT security and cloud, there are currently 17 matching funding programmes, 5 of them Germany-wide plus state programmes in 10 federal states. Whether it fits you depends on your federal state, company size and project – and almost always: apply first, order second.
